What I did on this project:
-Animation
-Stage design
-Show control
So back in 2011 I was given the opportunity to assist with stage design and animation for SSION at MoMA PS1 in New York. The project required almost a full hour of 2D and 3D animation mapped to seven separate projectors that combined to make up the bulk of all of the lighting on stage. We even got to cut holes in the ceiling, which means that I was a small part of permanently damaging a major American art museum. Yay!
What you see in these pictures and videos is a small documentation of the three days of sold-out shows. Three days that were the result of months of hard work, little sleep, and brilliant minds making art. Also I got to meet Debbie Harry, which was sweet!
