This project was done while I was at Hint. Check them out Here!
What I did on this project:
-Stage Design
-Show Control
-Lighting Design
-Editing
For the third year of Truman Medical Center's Fashion For a Cause we were asked to redesign the concept of a fashion show, and also do it for a reduced budget. We came up with the idea of a sculpture of light.
Since we didn't have much experience using lighting consoles we decided to just bypass them completely and run the entire show out of Touch designer with a DMX interface. TD was really great on this project because it let us build the entire stage and do animation in Blender (animated by the incredible Joe Sullivan) then export the animation channels directly into the show control. Once we had all the appropriate channels assigned, this process allowed us to iterate extremely complicated changes on-site within seconds.
Also as a side note, that second pic is my custom TD interface. I themed it after 90210, because, you know... whatever.
